Guess The Person First Match Walkthrough

Your first Guess The Person match should produce the Welcome Badge, a completed board, and if you keep your nerve, the First Win badge. This walkthrough is chair to toast, with the mistakes that burn new players named in the order they happen.

Updated: August 2026

0 to 60 seconds in the lobby

Spawn. Do not sprint in circles. Find a free chair. Sit. If every chair is full, either wait or press Play Alone and take the bot, documented in beat the bot. Welcome Badge should already have fired just for joining. That badge is a join flag, not a skill flag. Counts are on events.

Look once at shop and emote cabinets so you know they exist, then ignore them. Buying Auto Flip before you understand flips is how 15 Robux disappears without a lesson. Shop later, using gamepasses.

Watch a live table before you snipe

The clip in the middle of this page is a real [2 Player] Guess The Person capture from 27 August 2026, not a mobile Guess Who clone. Watch the chairs, the secret pick, and how little anyone types. Then copy that tempo, not a YouTube 20-questions party. If you want the rules spoken over a cleaner edit, the other verified capture sits in how to play.

Pick a boring secret face

When the pick timer starts, take a mid-density face: short brown hair, no crown, maybe glasses or maybe not. Do not take the only pink hair. Do not take the only king. Those faces die to the second button on best questions.

If the timer hits zero, the game will force a pick. Forced picks are often loud tiles. Click early.

Your first three buttons

Gender. Glasses. Hat or beard. Flip their board after each answer, not yours. If you cannot remember which board is which, watch the how to play video in the middle of that article before you queue again.

Count remaining tiles. If you are already at six and they are at fifteen, you are winning. Keep splitting. Do not guess a name at six unless you like coin flips.

Close the match

At one tile, guess. Wait for the double reveal. If you both nailed it, you still get Crowns. If you missed, you learned a face. Either way, stand up only after the victory screen, then sit again while the rules are warm.

First Win badge fires on the first success. After that, you are in the Crown loop on how to get Crowns. Read how to win before match three so you do not cement a snipe habit.

The three first-match deaths

  • Never sat, wandered the grass thumbnail world, left a dislike.
  • Flipped the home board, then accused the opponent of cheating.
  • Guessed “the guy with the beanie” at eight tiles and donated the round.

All three are control or patience issues, not missing codes. Codes are still empty on the codes page anyway.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Short answers to the questions that actually come up.

Do I need a friend for the first match?

No. Play Alone seats a bot.

Why did I not get First Win?

You have not won yet, or you already have the badge. Welcome Badge is separate and fires on join.

The chair did nothing.

The seat is occupied or you are already sitting. Walk to another pair. Server size is sixteen.

Should I buy Starter Pack first?

Not for match one. Learn the flips. Starter Pack is 15 Robux of comfort, listed with the other passes.
